Public WiFi is safer then it used to be, but it’s not entirely safe. That’s especially true if you’re using mobile apps, where there’s often no way to tell whether data is being encrypted. We highly recommend you make sure the WiFi you are using is secure (HTTPS). In addition, protecting accounts with better passwords and two-factor authentication is a smart idea will keep you safe from potential hacks.
