There is a mandatory patch warning issued by Dell SonicWall for their firewalls

In response to a mandate given by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SonicWalll has released a mandatory patch warning. NIST has mandated that by 12/31/2013, 1024-bit RSA Certificates will no longer be sold or supported. SonicWall uses certificates to secure the communications of their firewall as it receives security updates and when renewing security services.

More info on the mandate can be found here:
http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/nistpubs/800-131A/sp800-131A.pdf

Firewalls without the minimum required firmware will NOT be able to get real-time license information or the latest security services updates because they use 1024-bit RSA Certificates. The lack of updates may expose the protected network to new threats and exploits. In addition, you will NOT be able to activate and renew security services.
