As you have likely heard, this past Friday a flood of ransomware hit hundreds of companies around the world. The victims all had something in common: a key piece of network management and remote control software developed by U.S. technology firm Kaseya.
We wanted to reassure you we were not one of the approximately 50 MSPs that were compromised as a result of this recent attack. BMT does not utilize Kaseya’s VSA remote monitoring and management tools.
What Should You Do?
Thus far, around 1,500 small to medium-sized businesses were impacted as a result of Friday’s attack. We encourage you to continue to be diligent and safe in coming days.
